DD2 @ 21 Month Old

Our DD2 will turn 21-month-old a week from now. We are very happy with her development. She is a petite baby but very active and advanced in many ways. At her age, she already know a lot of things, very assertive and so eager to learn.

I told my husband she is too early to become so independent in little ways. She likes to always decide what she want to wear for her clothes or shoes. This is why when I give her choices for clothes I will pick something appropriate for the weather. If I let her peek at their closet, she will pick a summer dress instead.

She talks a lot. She is a chatterbox. We went to the grocery store yesterday and the checker was amazed at how she can speak so clearly with her size so tiny. The cashier said, "You are too small to be talking." DD2 was complaining and asking me to take off the seat belt of the shopping cart. She said, "Take off the seat belt Mommy, I want to get out." Her words now are clear.

She's almost 2 and as they say about terrible twos, the tantrums, throwing a fit, and so on. I know she is going to be fine and I know we can enjoy her more as her personality develops.
