Signing the Rent Agreement

Yep we already signed the rent agreement yesterday. We got our keys for the apartment unit and mailbox as well as the remote for the gate. The leasing agent walk us around the unit to check if we find something what needs to be fixed or to note like scratch and dents on walls, cabinets, countertops or even the appliances. Everything is good so we can move in the apartment anytime. But since we don't have our things yet we will be sleeping on base until the end of this week.

Last night we went to our friends house to get my car key. It was dropped at their place because we don't have a place here yet then. Later today we will pick it up. I will drive it to our new apartment following hubby. I am not familiar with the routes here so hubby will lead my way. We will also pick up the television that they will give to us. It is very timing that our cable/internet/telephone will be connected/installed on Wednesday we will have the television already for the cable. Thank goodness for thoughtfull friends :-) I am glad we are almost settled now so we can continue on with our lives.
