First Plane Ride

The only picture we took inside the military aircraft.

I was very apprehensive on how our DD will behave inside the plane. The military aircraft, C5, is different from the commercial plane in the sense that it can be very loud inside and the seats can be either jump seats or the regular airplane seats. There is no window also so it can become dark inside once the light is turned off. I was glad that she went to sleep before the plane took off. The only time she cried was when we put her back in the car seat when the plane about to land. She don't like to be snapped in with seat belt around her. As soon as she heard the sound of the wheels rolling out she stopped crying and just listen to it.

On our way home from Hickam AFB in Hawaii we flew in through KC135. It is smaller and we seated at the jump seats. It is not that comfortable but its ok. The insides of the plane was very hot because the AC was not activated. They are working on something it will be cooled down once we are up in the air. So it was very hot I wanted to strip my clothes off. It was a good thing I wore shorts and sleeveless blouse. Our DD was drenched with sweat and was crying because she was very hot. When it was about to take off she fell asleep and I was very relieved. She cried hard again when we strapped her back in the car seat for landing.

In all her first plane ride is good. She behaved while we were in the air and did not gave us a hard time. She is very observant and her Daddy was showing her around the plane when it was okay to unfasten the seat belt. There was no turbulence whatsoever so it was a smooth flight. I hope she will do the same when we will have an international flight.

Hi Bless, how was your vacation in HI, ang ganda siguro ano? It's really hard to bring kids on flights, kailangan talaga you have patience. I always bring their fave toy and lots of snacks like Goldfish and Cheezit.
