"Life is like a box of chocolates.....

you never know what you're going to get". Hmmm..I'm not sure if I got the whole sentence correctly. It's the infamous line I remembered from the movie "Forrest Gump" with Tom Hanks.

Anyways, I just thought of this line after I saw in our cupboard a box of chocolate, Cremino, made by Pernigotti in Italy. I got this chocolate as a gift from the Commissary during the newcomers tour and orientation in my husband's new post on March 11.

I was wondering what it tastes and looks like. On the box it says "chocolate bonbons with hazelnuts and almonds cream filling". It sounds yummy but is it really what I'm going to get? So after seconds of thinking I decided to open it up, see and taste it for myself. I was not disappointed. It tastes good, not overly sweet for me that sometimes you can feel the bitter taste of some chocolate.

In a way, I'm kind of having a lil bit of regrets for opening it just now until 6 months of having it. If i open it earlier I would have known that it tastes good to me. I could have open it with my husband's presence so we could enjoy together the goodness and sweetness of its taste.

This is how life comes in a box of chocolate. Life is full of surprises, full of mystery and you will not feel and taste the bitter sweet of it if you're not going to experience it. There are things in life that you want to do but you withhold not doing, not grabbing the opportunity when its knocking instead shying away and do the too much thinking until time passed and you missed it.

Oh well! how i wish that life is literally a box of chocolate so i can just buy another box 'cause i already devoured the sweetness half of it! Lolz
