Thanksgiving day falls every 4th Thursday of November and the Friday after that is known as Black Friday here in the US. The kick off day of serious holiday shopping for most of the Americans. There is no kidding here when it comes to this day's holiday shopping. The stores/malls opens as early as 5am to cater those shoppers. The mall where I work opened at 6am. Imagine? Shoppers are already lining up to enter the stores for the early-bird special discount. They're even knocking on the store's door. I heard on the news that somewhere in Florida, in one of the Walmart's store, customers were fighting over a merchandise.
Beforehand, I was told by our manager that it is the worst day ever of the year when it comes to shopping. She also warned me that I will get to meet rude customers. I was really waiting for the day. We were all told to be at work during this day. No day off and request for leave is not acceptable =) So I have to cut off short our vacation in South Carolina eventhough the in-laws wants us to stay longer.
My schedule was 2pm to close. The closing time is at 10pm but we got out of the store at 12 midnight. When I arrived at the mall I was amazed. We had a hard time looking for a parking space. Every space was taken. It took us a little less than 10minutes to find one. Whew! As expected the store where i work was full of customers and it's in real chaos. Merchandise were all over the place. Some were knocked down on the floor. Etageres, tables, shelves were empty, long line in all registers. As soon as I clocked in non-stop work for me until 12midnight. We had a pot luck and we have a lot of food but we didn't have the chance to enjoy the food that we have. That's because we were too busy.
Amidst all that, I was enjoying it. I like it when it's busy. My adrenaline also soared up. I can still get to smile albeit dealing with impatient and irritating customers. We also experienced dealing with shoppers fighting over a piece of merchandise hehehe.
Oh what a black Friday indeed! I may not be able to contain it when I am the one who is shopping.

Silingan sus pirs unor na pod ko, hehehe. Kasayod ba ka silingan nga ni uban ko shopping sa akong in laws gahapon ba, dili man unta ko uban kay kapuyan ko sa kadaghan sa tawo pero mao may ilang na andan maong uban na lang ko. Didto mi sa mall grabe nakong katawa kay naay nag away tungod lang sa isa ka item, grabe nakong bahakhak madz kay nag ilog sa isa ka item unya arang daghan pa man unta og stock, na buing na nakulangan lang siguro to sa kape kay arang sayuha pa man, nyehehehe. Sige madz ayo ayo dinha!

Dire sa Luxembourg First week sa December maghuot na sa mall kay daghan promo ug pinangitaay ug pang regalo :) mao na akong nabantayan dire sulod sa duha pa nako ka tuig :) pero wa sad ko kakita nga mag away :) 8am jud dire mangabli dayon mo close 8pm sa mga dagkong shop depende pod naay 6pm way sobra way kulang kay mahal na ang ibayad sa OT hehe..inig ka domingo, ahak! bati kaayo dire kay closed jud tanang shop, na kong di ka mag andam ug asin sa sabado na tab-ang jud imong niluto sa domingo kay way jud kay mapalitan:)

Sus na experience na jud nimo ang first day of shopping in xmas time. Kami lagi ni vana wala nalang mi ni adto sa mall kay di jud mi kalihok tungod sa kadaghan nga customer.
Ingon na jud na mare, pasensyahan jud nato ang mga customer, kataw-i lang kung naay maldito nga customer kay kita ang pildi. Kay inig kahuman ana naa na pod bati kina-iya nga costumer. Costumer is always right jud mare.
Lahi ra ba diri ba kay abusado kaayo sila kay kung di ganahan sa item, hala i-return dayun.

Yesterday muadto ta mi sa mall nga among giplanohan nisibat nalang mi sa lain kay wla jud mi kita og parking space maski afternoon nami nanlakaw kay nag apas lagi nga basin og mamauli na uban tawo mean makakita namo og mabutangan sa sakyanan pero mao lang gihapon. daghan man gud sale mao mag akal sad ang mga tawo mumata lang og sayo para kaavail sa sale.

Bitaw grabe sab dini sa ila..murag dunay riot ang mga shopping mall...ako late nako ni adto sa Wal-Mart...ngita ug salin sa mga sales..take care nyo dina..
Mareng Ethel mao lagi nakuwangan sa kape or wala ba kaha kapamahaw kay nangadlawon man ug adto sa mall hehehe. Na mare andam jud ug asin diha pirmi kay wa ra bay sari sari store. Basin maingon nga dili ingon nato kay way asin hehehe.

Halu Dauph...Mao jud nagpunsisok jud ang mga sakyanan sa parking lot. Unya gapila pud ang mopuli pagnaay mabakante. Kami lagi ni papasang nagtuyok tuyok pa before nakapark.

seen the news on TV and you can really see how some people gone crazy over things, pinag-aagawan pa ang iisang item. LOL! hubby's not a big fan of black friday and i can't blame him for that. good thing i'm not a shopaholic person, otherwise, mapipilitan siyang samahan niya ako. hehe!

Hi Amgine...yeah i know patok ito sa Pinas. Kaso lang pagxmas season na masyado ng mahal mga bilihin eh. Minsan lang may sale kung meron man di rin gaanong kalakihan.
