One time during my day off, me and a friend went to the mall to check something. Eventhough it was a weekday but I was wondering why there were plenty of shoppers as early as 9am. I know there was no sale event on the mall's shops that day. When we were inside we saw bunch of cute kids lining up on one side in pair walking. And we overheard that the kids came all the way from Phenix City, AL to have a picture with Santa Claus. So that explains why there were lots of people.
Inside the mall they made a mini christmas in the woods setting. It is where Santa Claus sits and waits for the kids. It was a sight watching the little ones so excited to meet Santa. They patiently waited their turn, taking a long queue just to have a glimpse and a picture of Mr. Claus. I took some photos of the long line of what it was like that day.

I did not experience this kind of craze back in the Philippines. [Ug wala pud hinuon sama ani sa among bukid]. I was so amazed that I asked my husband one time if I can also go in and have a pic with Santa. He asked me if I am serious. I said yes I am. Then he joking told me sure but as long as you will not sit on Santa's lap. Hahaha ganun? ;-)

Funny, naa mana sa pinas mare pero didto ra sa mga dagku nga mga malls.
Diri diay sa among lugar naa pod, amo unta pa picturan si Maria pero wala nalang kay orange ang gisuot ni Santa. Santa outfilt pero ang color kay Tennessee color, ngek, bati kaayo oi!

I had to sit on santa's lap once, because my daughter doesn't want to have her picture taken without me... tsaka parang she was afraid of him... she was just 1 year old then... hahaha...
after that, all the senior citizens gumaya na din, they each had their picture taken sitting on santa's lap.
this was a private christmas party at the community center.

Ganun ba Jo. I know ung mga bata minsan natatakot din kasi balabas-sarado si Santa eh hehehe. So far mga teens lang naman nakita ko nagpapicture kay Santa pero nakatayo lang sa tabi niya.

hi bless...i was smiling when i read this entry. because this afternoon we were in the mall and i saw kids lining up to get a pic with santa claus. that's also what my hubby told me hehehe. i was really laughing. then ako siya ingnan di nalang ko makipagkompitensya sa mga kids kay taas na kaayo ang linya. ingon pod ako bana...ibutang nalang tika sa stroller pod hehehe. perte gyud!! thanks for the space.
