Many months of thinking if I want to pursue my healthcare career here in the US. Until the start of this year that I decided to make a head start and do something. Last week of January I passed an application as a nursing assistant in a care and rehabilitation facility here in our area. Luckily I was hired early this month. I started on the 14th, er a valentine's day gift, huh?! I am hoping everything will work out just fine. I am on the process now of getting the hang of working with a new environment and new co-worker. I am assigned in a dementia/psych hall. So I have to deal with mentally challenged personalities. I like it so far. No complaints yet. Praying this will be the start in pursuing further my medical career here in the US.
