When we went to Ocean Shores there were horses that you can rent out per hour basis. You can have horse back riding along the beach. If it was not that cold I would probably try one. Maybe next time when our DD is old enough. So what we only did was petting the horses. Our DD got excited when she touched the horse's face for the first time.

That's lovely. I love horses too. Btw, have you ever heard that in New York City it is illegal to open or close an umbrella in the presence of a horse?
