I heard on the news that downtown Atlanta was struck by a tornado. It was the first in a very long, long time. The destruction includes the CNN building, Georgia dome, some apartments and hotels. It's a situation that I really don't wanna be in. I am wondering if my friend there and her family is doing okay. I did tried calling them up but nobody is answering the phone. I will try calling again later just to know if everything is good.

Storm and Flood
I am glued on the telly watching the news and weather alert here in Washington. There are areas and families affected by the recent storm and flood. I am so afraid we will be flooded too. Even section of Interstate 5 going south is closed for the time being. There is a river near us that was also put on flood warning but was lifted this morning because it subsided already. Thanks God for that. According to the forecast we will experience dryness for the next couple of days. I was
glad earlier I saw the sun came out but now it's dark again. I hope those affected will still see the light amidst this disaster.
California Fire
It is saddening as well as scary what happened right now in California. The blazing fire that I heard on the news were 0% contained. The first time I heard it was in Malibu. I was thinking about the drug treatment centers in Malibu, are they safe? Because as what I've seen on tv it was a huge fire engulfing southern CA so I believe there will be establishments that is affected. Now the fire reaches San Diego and they are predicting it will reach the shores. I pray that there will be progress in fighting with the fire. The firefighters were doing a phenomenal job battling these blaze. I can't imagine the vast damage these wildfires will cost. We'll just pray no life will be taken and the weather cooperates.
