Traveling with a Toddler

Having a toddler and going for a long drive is not really as smooth as you want it to be. Aside from doing many stops, wailing and crying loud is a part of it. It can make you feel stressed at times especially if the crying goes very high pitch. We left at night so it was a good thing since our DD just went to sleep. She only cried when she attempted to roll over but she could not because she has her seat belt on. I also don't like doing the long drive since her back becomes really hot being in the car seat. She got very sweaty and even if we have the AC on I still have to fan her to cool her off. This is why I was telling my husband that next time if we go for a long drive we have to wait until she become big enough to sit still in her car seat.

don't worry, she will get used to it if you do it often. just make sure she has stuff to do while in the car. listening to her favorite music or a portable DVD player is a good investment to keep her busy and quiet.
