Having a toddler and going for a long drive is not really as smooth as you want it to be. Aside from doing many stops, wailing and crying loud is a part of it. It can make you feel stressed at times especially if the crying goes very high pitch. We left at night so it was a good thing since our DD just went to sleep. She only cried when she attempted to roll over but she could not because she has her seat belt on. I also don't like doing the long drive since her back becomes really hot being in the car seat. She got very sweaty and even if we have the AC on I still have to fan her to cool her off. This is why I was telling my husband that next time if we go for a long drive we have to wait until she become big enough to sit still in her car seat.
On Top of the World
She is such a darling now. She loves doing new things and enjoys it when Daddy put her on his shoulder. Then hubby decided to sit her on top of his truck. She was enjoying it. She was clapping her hands showing her excitement. She may have thought that she is on top of the world :-) Isn't it a beautiful site when your child is happy?

Pasta Forever
Haay, seems like I am eating pasta forever. Yes I have been eating pasta since Sunday. I cooked the rotoni and I modified the bottled marinara sauce by adding ground beef and evaporated milk to it as my sauce to my pasta rotoni. I need to make another dish before I puke of eating too much of it. I also grilled wingettes that I still have until now from Tuesday. In a way it helps me to knock out everyday cooking. My time for cooking is now devoted for something else.
Grocery Shopping
Yes I did it this afternoon and it was raining. I have to buy diaper so I have to get out of the house even if it is raining and lagging our DD in her car seat to the car. It was my first time to go out and drive going to the store eversince hubby left. I was glad Shiloh was asleep so she wasn't complaining in her car seat.
Gladly I arrived Walmart without any glitch. It wasn't that far anyway from where we live. The traffic was still light since it was after lunch. I realized it was very difficult if you are shopping alone with baby in tow because I was pushing the stroller as well as the shopping cart. I brought the stroller in because it was raining so hard I don't want our DD wet. I forgot to bring the shopping bag with wheels that hubby bought for me before he left. It would have been easy.
When we arrived home I made two trips taking our groceries inside the apartment from the carport. First I have to take the diaper bag and some grocery bags and Shiloh in the car seat. The second trip I picked out Shiloh from the car seat and go back outside to bring in the rest of the groceries. I really wish our Daddy is here :-) I will be doing this and much more for 7 months.
Storage Space
Our only concern with our previous apartment was the lack of storage space. Although the closets were walk-ins but still it was cramped with extra stuffs. Hubby and I hates clutter so when we looked at apartment units we made sure that it will have ample storage spaces. I am glad that this apartment we have right now has enough to store all our extra stuff. Everything has its own place and organization is easy for that matter. I am affirming to keep it up to have a clutter-free abode.
