It is one of my weakness to shop clothes for my girls. I told myself not to buy every time we go to the mall since they grow fast and the clothes I'm buying will not be worn that much. Even until now I still love buying baby clothing for our 9-month-old little girl. Their clothes are just too cute and I can't get enough for my little one.
Aside from buying their apparel in our favorite stores, I also go online to shop. What I like in online shopping is the convenience. I tried different websites as well as the online sites for our fave stores. I even bookmarked sites that I really like. My husband told me not to bookmark it so I will not be tempted every time.
This year I am giving myself limit every month to only get stuff for the girls once a month unless it is really necessary. I have to do it in order for me not to go over budget and waste money to unnecessary stuff. So far they are good wit clothing and stuff. I may have to wait for spring to get them bigger clothes for that season.
Buying Clothes for My Girls
Medical Scrubs
When I worked as a nursing assistant back in Georgia I had a hard time finding nursing scrubs that will fit me. I am very petite and most of the uniforms I can find are either bigger scrub pants or tops. I usually go to a specialty store that mainly sells medical uniforms. The price really varies a lot. I bought few pairs and to top it all I have to have it altered to fit me. It's way more expensive than those sold at any local department stores.
I did not bother looking online back then. I thought I won't get a fair deal but if only I look or browse more I would be able to check out blue sky scrubs that really sells cheap scrub. Now I learn my lesson. I can find good deals by searching more online. I already know where to look for scrubs once I go back to work at health care.
Checking My Christmas List
It's twenty one days before Christmas and I am pretty sure some of us are now making sure to check the Christmas list and hoping shopping is done as early as possible. Honestly I am not done with my Christmas shopping. Going out is a task because the temperature is dropping down. I have to make sure both me and our toddler girl is bundled up for warmth. The other day we went out very early because our daughter's doctor's appointment is at 8:20am. Good thing I decided to drive past 7am since the car was covered with frost. I need to have it melted so I can drive. So definitely we are feeling the winter weather now.
Last week I started my Christmas shopping out to the stores. But considering the chilling weather I may have to go online to finish my shopping. I have been browsing different sites that offers good deals for Christmas gifts and found some that I like. I only have two person left to buy presents and I am looking at Patagonia kids brand at Zappos.com. I am thinking of getting our daughter the on sale puffer coat that she can use this winter.
I am browsing more about Patagonia brand and I ind of like their products. They have different collections for men, women and kids. They have all the apparel you need and it's very durable and quality too. A friend of mine mentioned it to me also and she too like this brand. So now I may have to get something from this brand for my husband as well. Although he is not here to use it yet but he will be able to use my gift when he gets home. Now I know what to get to finish up my shopping list.
Tank Top Dress for Summer
When we go to Hawaii this summer the older daughter will be coming with us. It is her first time to be there and she's very excited. Her Daddy told her not to bring too much stuff since we will only be there for four days and three nights. I told her for sure we will have a day to spend at the beach. She then said she will only bring light clothes fit for summer and Hawaiian weather :-)

Blue Jeans
I like dressing up our DD. I wanted to buy her clothes especially cute little dress but she only wears it to church. I usually put on her blue jeans when we go out since it is still cold. I wanted her to be fully clothed so she will not catch colds. I still have dresses that I bought that she wasn't able to wear gladly it's a little bit bigger so she can wear it even if she is 24 months already. But some of it she haven't worn and I ended up sending it to the Philippines for my nieces or whomever can wear it back there. Right now she is comfortable to move around when wearing pants so that is more she have than girly skirts and dresses.

Our DD's Shoes Collection
:-) Yeah I did not realize that she have more shoes than me and her Daddy. I am thankful for the donors who gave her some of her shoes :-) And also for Mommy and Daddy too who buy her stuffs :-) Baby's feet grows fast and she only wore the some of the shoes less than 5 times and it won't fit her anymore. I am glad that her Tita Shiela gave her bigger sizes which I am sure she can still wear until she become 4 years old :-) Those that will not fit her will be sent to my relatives back in Philippines. Now I am not trying to buy her more shoes and if I will only those that she can wear for the winter time.
Have a halloween costume already?
Today is the start of fall season. Every fall you also have to think of the Halloween celebration. So have you bought your costume already? When I was in the Philippines I did not really participate Halloween party in costumes. I only experienced it here in the US when I started working. Being a girl on the go, I always wear pants, jeans, slacks capri or even shorts. I am a jeans person that is why. I am very self conscious if I am wearing skirt or dress. If My Dockers Could Talk
I am a kind of person that really doesn't like to wear skirt or dresses often. You can only count with your fingers the dresses and skirts I own. I only wear skirt everyday when I was in high school because it is our uniform. When I was in College we don't have uniform so anything goes. When I was working in an office I was really glad that our office uniforms were all slacks. When I got here in the US my first job was in retail. We need to wear either a black pants or khaki pants only. I only got two pants that I always wear and one of which is a Dockers pants that you can picture below.
I love the fit of this pants and I can wear it with my sneakers or a ballet flat shoes. The fabric is very soft and comfortable and I feel light wearing it all day long climbing ladders to get merchandise from our stock room. It is a wash and wear pants for me. If only this Dockers pant of mine could talk, it would surely tell me to "get another one please and let me rest". But I am very impressed because even if I use it all the time, the fabric is still great and it still looks like new.

One time me and my friends were talking about ideal night wear. We were asking each other what type of night wear we are wearing when we go to sleep. Some said they like wearing sexy, hot lingerie.
