Ate Cel gave me a very touching award above. This is my first time to receive an award being a Mom and I am so thankful for it. There are times that we feel incapable being a mother and being recognized by friends and family is a validation that we also seek. My husband always thank me for giving him our daughter and he never fail to also thank me for being a good Mom to her. A simple gesture of recognizing our being a Mom gives joy and erase all the hang ups in our heart. Thanks again Ate Cel.

I got a very nice award from Francine. I am very touched of this thoughtful deed. This I call the ball of friendship. It is amazing that even if we haven't seen each other in real life or in person but we were able to establish friendship from all over the world. Through blogging and the internet we connect to people. I am honored and blessed to have found many friends online through blogging. I can say that even I don't have many friends here in our area but the void feeling was replaced by friends that I can chat online or talk on the phone. I would like to continue spreading this ball of friendship to my friends Merydith, Recel, Raquel, Norms, Ethel, Tess and Lutchi.

I got an inspirational award from Petra. It was so sweet of her for giving me such a nice thought. I love the thought of a dog and a cat so close together. If we are far from our family and relatives we are still blessed because we have friends that always cheers us up. Honestly, right now I don't have a close friend here that I can go out and hang out with. All my friends are far in distance. Just like my friends that I met through blogging, through the forum that I frequented before, my friends from Philippines who are now living here. They are all far from me. I can only talk to them online or on the phone. That is why a gesture like this is greatly appreciated and treasured. Thanks Norms.

I am so touched to receive this Cool Mom award from no other than a cool Mom as well Racel. I showed it to hubby and he agreed that I am a cool Mom and the award title is appropriate for me. I don't know if he's just pulling my leg but I kinda sorta agree to it though :-) Altho I haven't had the experience of bonding with my DD when it comes to teen stuff coz she's still a baby but it is one of my agenda when my DD will become adolescent. That I will not only be the Mom but also the friend that she can talk to with everything with no holds barred. I want her to be comfortable sharing to me her escapades. I am so excited for the the time when DD can talk to me and asks questions.
